On Sunday, October 11, the third edition of the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon will take place in Pali\u0107, with this year\u2019s event carrying special significance as it will host the Serbian Duathlon Championship. The competition is organized by Sports Association Optiforma<\/a>, with the support of the Serbian Triathlon Federation and the Sports Association of the City of Subotica.<\/p>

Due to the cycling segment of the race, which takes place on a section of the bypass road around Lake Pali\u0107, traffic will be temporarily suspended on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the section between the Aquapark<\/em> and Sala\u0161 \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107<\/em>. This measure is necessary to ensure safe conditions for the competition and to protect the participants, as well as all other road users. During this period, bus line No. 6 will also not operate along this route.<\/p><\/blockquote>

We kindly ask residents of Pali\u0107 and Subotica, as well as all visitors planning to come to Pali\u0107, to adjust their travel and movement during this period to the temporary traffic restrictions, use alternative routes, and show understanding for the measures necessary to ensure the safety of all participants during the competition.<\/p>

The third edition of the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon<\/em> will bring together 180 competitors, making this year\u2019s event fully booked. We are particularly delighted to welcome as many as 80 children and cadets, an exceptional number for duathlon and a clear indication that the sport is increasingly attracting younger generations. In addition to competitors from Serbia, athletes from Hungary, Romania and other countries will also take part in the event in Pali\u0107.<\/p>

The central part of the event will be held at the Physical Culture Park in Pali\u0107, while the running segment will take place along the lakeshore, towards Paprika \u010carda<\/em> and further to Petra Winery<\/em>. The cycling segment will take place on the section of the bypass road that will be closed to traffic during the race.<\/p>

The competition features several disciplines and categories. The Sprint Duathlon, which will host the Serbian Duathlon Championship, consists of a 5 km run, a 20 km bike segment and a 2.5 km run. The programme also includes the Super Sprint, Mini & Kids races, as well as the Friends & Family relay.<\/p>

Year after year, the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon brings together an increasing number of athletes, recreational competitors, children and young people, becoming an important part of the sporting offering of Pali\u0107 and Subotica. This year\u2019s edition is particularly significant as hosting the Serbian Duathlon Championship further strengthens Pali\u0107\u2019s place on Serbia\u2019s sporting map.<\/p>

The organizers emphasize that the safety of competitors, spectators and all road users is the absolute priority, which is why the temporary road closure is necessary to safely conduct the cycling segment of the race.<\/p>

We invite local residents to be patient and understanding during the event, but also to take the opportunity to come to Pali\u0107 on Sunday, support the competitors and be part of a sporting event that brings together participants of different generations and levels of experience.<\/strong><\/p>

The Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon is more than just a race. It is an event that brings together sport, the community and Pali\u0107, with the aim of making it better and more significant for our city and the region every year.<\/p>

U nedelju, 11. oktobra, na Pali\u0107u \u0107e biti odr\u017eano tre\u0107e izdanje Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlona, koje ove godine ima poseban zna\u010daj jer \u0107e se u okviru manifestacije odr\u017eati Prvenstvo Srbije u duatlonu. Organizator takmi\u010denja je Sportsko udru\u017eenje Optiforma, uz podr\u0161ku Srpskog triatlona i Sportskog saveza Grada Subotice. Zbog biciklisti\u010dkog dela trke, koji se odvija na delu Obilaznog puta oko Pali\u0107kog jezera, u nedelju \u0107e u periodu od 10:00 do 14:30 \u010dasova biti privremeno obustavljen saobra\u0107aj na deonici od Akvaparka do Sala\u0161a \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107. Ova mera je neophodna kako bi se obezbedili uslovi za bezbedno odvijanje takmi\u010denja i za\u0161titili takmi\u010dari, ali i svi ostali u\u010desnici u saobra\u0107aju. U navedenom periodu tom trasom ne\u0107e saobra\u0107ati ni autobuska linija broj 6. Molimo gra\u0111ane Pali\u0107a, Subotice, kao i sve posetioce koji planiraju dolazak na Pali\u0107, da svoje kretanje i putovanje u ovom periodu prilagode privremenoj izmeni re\u017eima saobra\u0107aja, da koriste alternativne pravce i da imaju razumevanja za mere koje su neophodne kako bi se takmi\u010denje odr\u017ealo bezbedno za sve u\u010desnike. Tre\u0107i Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon okupi\u0107e 180 takmi\u010dara, \u010dime je ovogodi\u0161nje izdanje u potpunosti popunjeno. Posebno nas raduje \u010dinjenica da ove godine okupljamo \u010dak 80 dece i kadeta, \u0161to je za duatlon izuzetan broj i potvrda da ovaj sport sve vi\u0161e privla\u010di najmla\u0111e generacije. Pored takmi\u010dara iz Srbije, na Pali\u0107u \u0107e se nadmetati i u\u010desnici iz Ma\u0111arske, Rumunije i drugih zemalja. Centralni deo manifestacije bi\u0107e sme\u0161ten u Parku Fizi\u010dke Kulture na Pali\u0107u, dok \u0107e se trka\u010dki deo odvijati du\u017e obale jezera, prema Paprika \u010cardi i dalje do Vinarije Petra, a biciklisti\u010dki segment upravo na delu Obilaznog puta koji \u0107e tokom trke biti zatvoren za saobra\u0107aj. Takmi\u010denje se sastoji od vi\u0161e disciplina i kategorija. Sprint duatlon, u okviru kojeg se odr\u017eava Prvenstvo Srbije, obuhvata 5 kilometara tr\u010danja, 20 kilometara bicikla i 2,5 kilometara tr\u010danja. Pored njega, program obuhvata i Super Sprint, Mini & Kids trke, kao i Friends & Family \u0161tafetu. Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon iz godine u godinu okuplja sve ve\u0107i broj sportista, rekreativaca, dece i mladih i postaje deo sportske ponude Pali\u0107a i Subotice. Ovogodi\u0161nje izdanje posebno je zna\u010dajno jer se, kroz doma\u0107instvo dr\u017eavnog prvenstva, Pali\u0107 dodatno pozicionira na sportskoj mapi Srbije. Organizatori isti\u010du da je bezbednost takmi\u010dara, gledalaca i svih u\u010desnika u saobra\u0107aju apsolutni prioritet, zbog \u010dega je privremena obustava saobra\u0107aja neophodna za realizaciju biciklisti\u010dkog dela trke. Pozivamo gra\u0111ane da imaju strpljenja i razumevanja tokom trajanja manifestacije, ali i da iskoriste priliku da u nedelju do\u0111u na Pali\u0107, podr\u017ee takmi\u010dare i budu deo sportskog doga\u0111aja koji okuplja u\u010desnike razli\u010ditih generacija i nivoa iskustva. Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon nije samo trka. To je doga\u0111aj koji povezuje sport, zajednicu i Pali\u0107, sa \u017eeljom da svake godine bude kvalitetniji i zna\u010dajniji za na\u0161 grad i region.
