The second edition of the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon<\/strong> was successfully held on Sunday, 12 October 2025, at Lake Pali\u0107, drawing an impressive number of participants and spectators and creating an atmosphere that once again demonstrated sport's unique ability to bring generations together.<\/p>\n\n

More than 150 athletes took part in the event, including a large number of children and young competitors, giving the race a unique family-friendly atmosphere and sending a strong message about the importance of an active lifestyle and community spirit. We were especially delighted to welcome athletes of all ages, not only from Serbia and the city of Subotica, but also many young competitors from Hungary and Romania, once again proving that sport knows no borders.<\/p>\n\n

As part of the Serbian Duathlon Cup, the event was marked by fair play, mutual support, and enthusiastic cheering from spectators along the course. Smiles, determination, and sporting pride were evident throughout the day. The event gave spectators the opportunity to experience just how demanding\u2014and at the same time how rewarding\u2014duathlon can be, combining strength, endurance, and mental resilience.<\/p>\n\n

The highlight of the event, the Standard Duathlon (10 km run \/ 40 km bike \/ 5 km run), was won by two exceptional young athletes whose consistency, determination, outstanding performance, and passion for the sport inspired both spectators and fellow competitors.<\/p>\n

\"natalija\"mihajloThe women's race was won by the Serbian National Champion in Olympic-distance triathlon\u00a0Natalija \u0160e\u0161lija<\/strong>\u00a0(a member of the Novi Sad triathlon club TriOgy Racing<\/strong>). In the men's race, much to the delight of the home spectators, the winner was Subotica's own outstanding\u00a0Mihajlo Boli\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0(a member of Dynamic Triathlon Club<\/strong> and Spartak Cycling Club<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

In addition to the Standard, Mini, Kids, and Super Sprint events, the programme also featured the Sprint Duathlon (5 km run \u2013 20 km bike \u2013 2.5 km run), another demanding race format. The women's title was claimed by Mira Torok of the Hungarian club Mogyi Triatlon Baja<\/strong>, while the men's race was won by Zoltan Horvat from Be\u010dej, a member of Optiforma<\/strong> and Iron Wolves Triathlon Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The atmosphere around the course and Lake Pali\u0107 was filled with positive energy, enthusiastic support from parents, applause for the youngest competitors, and a genuine passion for sport. Thanks to its wide range of children's races, the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon once again proved that it is more than just a competition\u2014it is a family-oriented event that promotes sportsmanship, fair play, and a love of sport among children.<\/p>\n\n

This event would not have been possible without the support of those who have been dedicated to the development of triathlon in Serbia and sport in our city for many years \u2013 the Triathlon Federation of Serbia<\/strong> and the Sports Association of the City of Subotica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Nata\u0161a Aleksi\u0107<\/strong> and Dejan Vukovi\u0107<\/strong>, who once again had the honor of officially opening the race. We also thank all athletes, volunteers, friends, sponsors, partners, and supporting institutions for their invaluable contribution, as well as the citizens for their understanding during the temporary road closures throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n

Drugo izdanje\u00a0Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlona\u00a0odr\u017eano je u nedelju, 12.oktobra 2025. na Pali\u0107u uz izuzetnu pose\u0107enost i atmosferu koja je pokazala da sport ima mo\u0107 da okuplja generacije. U\u010destvovalo je vi\u0161e od 150 takmi\u010dara, me\u0111u kojima je bio veliki broj dece i mladih, \u0161to je na\u0161oj trci dalo poseban, porodi\u010dni karakter i sna\u017enu poruku o va\u017enosti zdravog \u017eivota i zajedni\u0161tva. Posebno nas raduje u\u010de\u0161\u0107e takmi\u010dara svih generacija, ne samo iz Srbije i Subotice, ve\u0107 smo imali veliki broj dece iz Ma\u0111arske i Rumunije, \u0161to je samo pokazatelj toga da sport ne poznaje granice. Takmi\u010denje, koje je\u00a0deo Kupa Srbije\u00a0u duatlonu, proteklo je u duhu fer pleja, podr\u0161ke i navijanja sa staza, gde su se smenjivali osmesi, istrajnost i sportski ponos. Publika je imala priliku da vidi koliko je ovaj sport istovremeno zahtevan i izuzetno lep, jer duatlon spaja snagu, izdr\u017eljivost i mentalnu posve\u0107enost. Na glavnoj trci \u201eStandard duathlon\u201c koja se sastoji iz 3 segmenta, 10km tr\u010danje\/40km vo\u017enja biciklom\/5km tr\u010danje, pobedilo je dvoje mladih ljudi, koji su odu\u0161evili sve prisutne svojom stabilno\u0161\u0107u, istrajno\u0161\u0107u, sjajnom formom i stra\u0161\u0107u prema sportu. \u00a0 U \u017eenskoj konkurenciji trijumfovala je prvakinja Srbije na olimpijskoj triatlon distanci –\u00a0Natalija \u0160e\u0161lija\u00a0(novosadski triatlon klub \u201eTriOgy Racing\u201c). Dok je u mu\u0161koj konkurenciji, na posebnu radost publike, trijumfovao na\u0161 suboti\u010danin, sjajni\u00a0Mihajlo Boli\u0107\u00a0(\u010dlan Triatlon kluba \u201eDynamic\u201c i \u00a0Biciklisti\u010dkog kluba \u201eSpartak\u201c). \u00a0 Pored Standard, Mini, Kids i Super Sprint distance, imali smo i Sprint distancu (5km tr\u010danja – 20km bicikl – 2,5km tr\u010danja), tako\u0111e zahtevnu disciplinu. Pobedu u \u017eenskoj konkurenciji odnela je takmi\u010darka iz ma\u0111arskog kluba „Mogyi Triatlon“ Baja – Mira Torok, dok je zlato u mu\u0161koj konkurenciji osvojio be\u010dejac\u00a0Zoltan Horvat – \u010dlan „Optiforme“ i tima „Iron Wolves Triatlon“. Atmosfera na stazi i oko jezera bila je ispunjena pozitivnom energijom, podr\u0161kom roditelja, aplauzima za najmla\u0111e takmi\u010dare i iskrenom ljubavlju prema sportu. Upravo zahvaljuju\u0107i velikom broju de\u010djih trka, Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon je jo\u0161 jednom potvrdio da osim takmi\u010darskog, neguje i porodi\u010dni duh i podr\u017eava razvoj sportskog duha i fer pleja kod dece. Ovaj doga\u0111aj ne bi bio mogu\u0107 bez podr\u0161ke onih koji ve\u0107 godinama stoje iza razvoja triatlona u Srbiji i sporta u na\u0161em gradu \u2013 Srpski Triatlon i Sportski Savez Grada Subotice. Zahvaljujemo\u00a0Nata\u0161i Aleksi\u0107 i Dejanu Vukovi\u0107u, koji su sve\u010dano i ove godine otvorili trku, zatim svim u\u010desnicima, volonterima, prijateljima, sponzorima, partnerima i institucijama na podr\u0161ci i gra\u0111anima na razumevanju zbog privremene obustave saobra\u0107aja tokom trke. Pali\u0107 je jo\u0161 jednom pokazao da je dom sportskog duha, zajedni\u0161tva i prirodne lepote! Vidimo se i naredne godine!
