On Sunday, 12 October, Lake Pali\u0107 will host the second edition of the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon, a multisport event in the discipline of duathlon that combines two sports\u2014running and cycling. The race is part of the Serbian Duathlon Cup, organized under the auspices of the Triathlon Federation of Serbia and the Sports Association of the City of Subotica, and represents one of the region's most important sporting events.<\/p>\n

The event hub will be located in the Physical Culture Park at Lake Pali\u0107 (the park opposite the Brvnara restaurant). The running course follows the lakeside promenade from Pla\u017ea Bar toward Petra Winery, while the cycling course takes place on a section of the Lake Pali\u0107 ring road, from the football fields to the bend.

Autobuska linija broj 6 u ovom periodu ne\u0107e saobra\u0107ati pomenutom trasom. We kindly ask residents and visitors of Lake Pali\u0107 for their understanding and patience during the event. We also invite all sports enthusiasts to come and cheer on the athletes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year's edition will bring together more than 170 athletes, marking a significant increase compared to last year, when 100 competitors crossed the finish line. The event features races across multiple age categories, from the youngest participants to seniors, and is open to both experienced athletes and recreational competitors looking to challenge themselves in this demanding yet highly rewarding sport. The event places a strong emphasis on promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging participation across all generations, and fostering equality in sport. We are especially pleased to welcome a large number of children and young athletes, while competitors from Hungary and Romania will join participants from across Serbia.<\/p>\n

Behind the Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlon is a passionate team committed to creating an event that supports the local community and helps promote Lake Pali\u0107 as a destination for sports tourism.
Our goal is not simply to organize a race, but to create an event that inspires\u2014one where people leave with a smile, eager to return, and with the feeling that they have been part of something truly special.

U nedelju, 12. oktobra, na Pali\u0107u, odr\u017ea\u0107e se drugo izdanje Pali\u0107 Lake Duathlona, takmi\u010denja iz sportske grane triatlon, koje spaja dva sporta – tr\u010danje i vo\u017enju bicikla. Takmi\u010denje je deo Kupa Srbije u duatlonu, pod okriljem Srpskog triatlona i Sportskog Saveza Grada Subotice, i predstavlja va\u017enu sportsku manifestaciju za ovu regiju. Centralni deo manifestacije nalazi se u Parku Fizi\u010dke Kulture na Pali\u0107u (park preko puta \u201eBrvnare\u201c), trka\u010dki deo odvija se du\u017e obale pe\u0161a\u010dkom stazom od Pla\u017ea bara prema Vinariji Petra, dok se biciklisti\u010dki deo odvija na delu Obilaznog puta oko jezera, od fudbalskih terena do krivine.Tokom odr\u017eavanja trke, privremeno \u0107e do\u0107i do obustave saobra\u0107aja na deonici Obilaznog puta, od skretanja kod SC \u201eJanko Pejanovi\u0107\u201c, do krivine, u periodu od 10:20 do 15:30 \u010dasova. Molimo gra\u0111ane i posetioce Pali\u0107a za razumevanje i strpljenje tokom trajanja manifestacije, a sve ljubitelje sporta pozivamo da do\u0111u i podr\u017ee takmi\u010dare. Ovogodi\u0161nje izdanje okupi\u0107e vi\u0161e od 170 u\u010desnika, \u0161to je zna\u010dajan porast u odnosu na pro\u0161lu godinu, kada je ciljnu liniju pre\u0161lo 100 takmi\u010dara. Trke se odr\u017eavaju u vi\u0161e starosnih kategorija, od najmla\u0111ih do seniora, a namenjene su i iskusnim sportistima i rekreativcima koji \u017eele da se oprobaju u ovom izazovnom, ali izuzetno inspirativnom sportu. Akcenat je stavljen na promociju zdravih \u017eivotnih vrednosti, uklju\u010divanje svih generacija i jednakost u sportu. Posebno nas raduje \u0161to je me\u0111u prijavljenima veliki broj dece i mladih, a osim takmi\u010dara iz Srbije, ugosti\u0107emo i takmi\u010dare iz Ma\u0111arske i Rumunije. Iza trke stoji tim koji sa mnogo entuzijazma i truda gradi manifestaciju koja doprinosi lokalnoj zajednici i sportskom turizmu Pali\u0107a.Na\u0161 cilj nije samo da organizujemo trku, ve\u0107 da stvorimo doga\u0111aj koji inspiri\u0161e \u2013 da ljudi odu ku\u0107i sa osmehom, \u017eeljom da se vrate i ose\u0107ajem da su deo ne\u010deg lepog i sportskog.Veliko hvala svima koji su prepoznali zna\u010daj ovog doga\u0111aja i koji su zajedni\u010dkim snagama doprineli vra\u0107anju i razvoju sporta na Pali\u0107u \u2013 volonterima, pokroviteljima, lokalnoj zajednici, prijateljima i sponzorima!
